Pessimism and Christianity do not mix. why? Because Christians have every reason to be optimistic about life here on earth and life eternal. Our hope in Christ for the future is the mainstream of our joy. C.H.
but sometimes we fall prey to worry. frustration, anxiety, or sheer exhaustion and our hearts become heavy. What's needed is plenty of rest, a large dose of perspective and God's healing touch but not necessarily in that order. Today make this promise to yourself and keep it. vow to be a hope filled Christian. Think optimistically about your life, your profession, your future and your family. Trust your hopes, not your fears. take time to celebrate God's glorious creation. And then you have filled your heart with hope and gladness, share your optimism with others. They'll be better for it and so will you.But not necessarily in that order.
The Spirit we received does not make us slaves again to fear it make us children of God with that Spirit we cry out (Father)And the Spirit himself joins with our spirits to say we are God's children.
